Albums
Toto's discography includes 13 studio albums and 4 live albums. There are also compilations. Toto has released original music as well as collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. Toto has won numerous Grammy Awards.
Before Toto was formed the members of the group played sessions for other musicians. David Paich, the son of session drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all played on Boz Scaggsalbum in 1975 Silk Degrees. The collaboration led to the formation of Toto in the year 1976.
Turn Back, Toto's third studio album, was criticized by critics due to the absence of hit singles. In 1985 the singer Fergie Frederiksen quit the group and the group held auditions for a new frontman. The band picked guitarist Steve Lukather, and recorded Fahrenheit in 1986.
In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by going through several old tapes and demos to release a special edition called Toto XX. The album was well-received by fans and the band embarked upon an extensive tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
During the tour for the album 40 Trips Around the Sun The drummer Leland Sklar quit the group and was replaced by Shem von Schroeck. In 2017, Toto released the double-CD set Falling in Between. It included live recordings from the tour and also an interview with the group.

During the tour, lead vocalist Bobby Kimball was arrested on drug charges. The band decided to let him leave at the conclusion of the tour, and they hired guitarist and singer Joseph Williams in his place. David Hungate, the drummer also quit the band after the tour. Leland Sklar replaced him.
The TOTO Museum is an impressive modern building with a variety of exhibit rooms that are devoted to telling the story of the company and its most innovative product. The museum's exhibits include toilets and faucets as well as tableware which have contributed to the growth of TOTO in the past half century. The museum also has special exhibits throughout the year.

The video takes place in a library, and shows the group performing on top of a stack of books about Africa.

In 1998, Toto began working on a special project called Old Is New. This album included three new tracks as well as several finished recordings of older songs. The album was a worldwide success and the band toured on tour to promote it.

The group Toto, best known for their hit single "Africa" The band recently joined forces for a tour to promote their newest album, All In. The album came out on November 6, 2018 and included three brand new tracks from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun, and also recorded versions of four older tracks featuring Jeff Porcaro on drums and either Mike or Steve Porcaro on bass. The album also included the cover of Weezer's track "Hash Pipe" which the band opted to include after hearing a version on the radio.
