The album came out on November 6, 2018 and featured three new songs from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun, and also completed recordings of four other older tracks featuring Jeff Porcaro on drums and either Mike or Steve Porcaro on bass. The album also included the cover of Weezer's track "Hash Pipe" which the band opted to include after hearing a rendition on the radio.
